Salary: $250,000 - $385,000 per year

Job Details

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business focused healthcare litigation, specifically with reimbursement litigation experience. Candidates should also have experience both working and managing multiple cases, be licensed to practice in California, have strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.

Responsibilities:

Represent hospitals and health systems, and other health care providers in litigation matters involving shareholder and other corporate disputes, reimbursement lawsuits against major health plans, and multiparty, bet-the-company litigation and a variety of other issues affecting our health care clients;
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions;
Negotiate settlements and resolving disputes with opposing counsel;
Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to health care litigation;
Participate in arbitrations, mediations, settlement negotiations and trials;
Conduct legal research and staying up-to-date on health care laws and regulations.
