Healthcare Job Captain
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Type: Full-Time
What You'll Do:
- Lead the production of construction documents for healthcare facilities
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with HCAI and CDPH guidelines
- Oversee QA/QC processes, maintain drawing standards, and mentor junior staff
- Collaborate on site visits, field verifications, and RFI responses
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Job Captain or senior Designer on healthcare projects
- Proven track record with HCAI plan submissions and approvals
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Project Architect
What You'll Do:
- Drive schematic design through construction administration for hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Develop and present design concepts to clients, incorporating HCAI standards
- Lead interdisciplinary design charrettes and stakeholder workshops
- Mentor design staff and ensure deliverables meet quality and budget targets
What You'll Bring:
- 8+ years of architectural experience, including 2+ as Project Architect on healthcare work
- Direct experience preparing HCAI submittals and navigating regulatory reviews
- Registered Architect (RA) or NCARB record a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Project Manager
What You'll Do:
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships from kickoff through close-out
- Oversee compliance with HCAI codes, Joint Commission requirements, and seismic regulations
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver on scope and quality
- Implement risk management strategies and streamline project workflows
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of project management experience in the healthcare sector
- Demonstrated success with HCAI submissions, plan check responses, and facility licensure
- Strong leadership, financial acumen, and problem-solving skills
