POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains, services, calibrates, adjusts, repairs, and tests all types of general medical equipment and systems for the University Health System. Performs duties and completes assignments in a timely, efficient, and competent manner. Complies with UHS, departmental, and section policies and regulations. Uses and cares for equipment and supplies properly. Maintains professional working relations with customers, staff, and contractors
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in biomedical engineering technology or related field or over eight years of relevant experience is required. Two years of experience in a full service biomedical section, department or company is required; five years of experience is preferred. Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred
