Your Role at Teleperformance In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for our clients and medical professionals. You will engage with a wide variety of individuals in a collaborative work environment where no two days are alike. Your contributions will help us achieve our mission of making customer experiences simpler, faster, and safer.
This position requires onsite work at our Port St. Lucie, FL location.
Your Key Responsibilities - Handle inbound calls from medical professionals, using medical terminology for benefit requests and verifications
- Respond proactively to all customer inquiries with care and professionalism
- Deliver outstanding customer service through effective active listening techniques
- Manage sensitive customer information with utmost confidentiality
- Aim for first-call resolution by being proactive in addressing issues
- Communicate professionally and appropriately with all callers
- Support health care providers by assisting with their inquiries
- Research and provide accurate benefit information
- Adapt responses and conduct extensive inquiries as necessary
- Document and maintain detailed records of all customer interactions
- Verify caller identities according to our strict verification protocols
What We Are Looking For - A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in a medical-related field
- Applicants must be over 18 years of age
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Proficient with desktop computer systems and capable of basic troubleshooting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong ability to multi-task between communication and documentation
- Familiarity with the Windows operating system and web browsing
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Capability to handle high-stress situations and challenging customers
- Flexibility to work various shifts
