Our client is looking to bring on an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to support on their upcoming Hospital work throughout the DC Metro area

Description


  • Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with hospital staff, subcontractors, and the project management team to ensure seamless execution in occupied healthcare environments.
  • Develop and enforce infection control risk assessments (ICRAs) and implement safety measures to protect patients and staff.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and on-site teams while proactively addressing challenges.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, maintaining trust and transparency.

Profile


  • 7-10+ years of experience in construction supervision.
  • At least 5 years focused on managing occupied healthcare projects (hospitals, not doctor's offices), with a strong understanding of infection control protocols, coordination with medical staff, and patient safety measures.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in highly sensitive, occupied environments.
  • Experience with phased construction, building systems (MEP coordination), and ensuring minimal disruption in operational facilities.
