Healthcare Call Center Representative The Healthcare Call Center Representative assists healthcare providers-including doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies-with prescription approvals for insured patients. The role starts with processing inbound faxes to verify prescription information and progresses to handling provider inquiries via phone in a call center environment.

Responsibilities: - Review inbound faxes from healthcare providers regarding prescription coverage requests
- Verify that all required information (e.g., provider details, patient data, medication dosage) is complete
- Accurately enter prescription request details into the system for coverage determination
- Handle inbound phone calls from providers to collect and verify prescription information (approximately 20 calls per day)
- Maintain professionalism and clear communication while assisting providers
- Ensure accuracy by following structured processes and reviewing member information for discrepancies
Qualifications: - 6+ months of customer service experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance-related customer service roles
- Strong verbal communication skills to interact professionally with healthcare providers
- High attention to detail for verifying prescription and patient information accurately
