Position Summary:

We are seeking a technically skilled and solutions-oriented Healthcare Application Analyst to support the ongoing configuration, maintenance, and optimization of clinical applications across our organization. While initial responsibilities will focus on Netsmart platforms (including myEvolv, myAvatar, and myAM), this role is designed to grow into broader health IT and clinical systems support as our technology portfolio evolves.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare application support, a keen understanding of clinical workflows, and a collaborative approach to solving problems. You'll work closely with our IT and clinical operations teams to ensure our healthcare technology supports the highest standards of care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of EHR systems, initially focusing on Netsmart myEvolv, myAvatar, and myAM, with room to expand.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical, administrative, and technical teams to ensure applications meet operational and regulatory needs.
  • Support EHR-related projects, such as template builds, form changes, user provisioning, and role-based access configuration.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate clinical and operational workflows into application logic and system design.
  • Assist with data imports, integrations, and application testing, including validating interoperability between systems (e.g., via HL7, FHIR, APIs).
  • Support the rollout of new modules, system upgrades, and application enhancements by coordinating testing, documentation, and go-live support.
  • Maintain application documentation including system configurations, workflows, user guides, and support procedures.
  • Monitor support tickets and provide Tier 1-2 application support, escalating to vendors or IT leadership as appropriate.
  • Participate in reporting and data analysis efforts to support program evaluation, quality improvement, and funding requirements.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
Pay & Benefits

At Janus, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $95,000 and $110,000 annually and your base pay will be considered on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.

Requirements

Required:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Information Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and certifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting healthcare applications or EHR platforms (e.g., myEvolv, myAvatar, Epic, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, etc.).
  • Familiarity with clinical environments and workflows; ability to empathize with end users and support usability needs.
  • Experience with application configuration, user support, and basic system administration tasks.
  • Understanding of data structures, reporting, and/or interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience with behavioral health, substance use treatment, or public health program operations.
  • Familiarity with Netsmart platforms (myEvolv, myAvatar, myAM) is a plus.
  • Exposure to data integration, ETL processes, or basic scripting.
  • Experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, or reporting platforms (e.g., Crystal Reports, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
