St. Luke's University Health Network (SLUHN) is a non-profit, regional, fully integrated, nationally recognized network providing services at 14 campuses and more than 300 sites in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Schuylkill, Bucks, Montgomery, Berks, Monroe and Luzerne counties in Pennsylvania and Warren and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
St Luke's interns support the network by using their knowledge and talents to bring new ideas, creative solutions and technical skills to a variety of projects and task assignments.
Core responsibilities will include topics related to the optimization of operations, capital procurement, bonus structures and incentive plans, employee management, building design and construction initiatives, provider recruitment, and other SLPG requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support St. Luke's Physician Group's goals by aiding in completion of assigned tasks relating to core responsibilities
Work independently to complete tasks by assigned deadlines with the ability to receive feedback, implement changes and modify outputs as necessary.
Collaborate with SLPG Senior leaders on assigned tasks, providing clear and concise instructions to receive, collate and present information,
Organize, analyze, and synthesize data for evaluation.
Construct and conduct in person and virtual meetings as necessary.
Perform in-person presentation at conclusion of internship.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Other related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sit up to 7 hours per day; 1 hour at a time. Stand for up to 10 hours per day; 8 hours at a time. Walk 6 hours per day; 10 minutes at a time. Consistently lift, carry and push objects up to 10 lbs. Occasionally lift, carry and push objects up to 75 lbs. Transport patients weighing up to 400 lbs. via wheelchair, bed and/or stretcher. Frequently stoop and bend. Frequently reach above should level. Must be able to perceive attributes of an object through touch. Must be able to hear as it relates to normal conversation, and high and low frequencies. Must be able to see as it relates to general, near, far, color and peripheral vision.
COMMUNICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Open to students enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university, studying Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or other applicable degrees.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Excel Proficiency
WORK SCHEDULE: Day shift Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
