VANRATH is assisting in the recruitment of a SHEQ Manager for a large engineering organization. The organization has experienced consistent growth, and the successful candidate will join a reputable company.
Office location: Limavady or Cookstown - Monday to Friday - Permanent role

Key Responsibilities:
The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality systems across the organization. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, overseeing risk management, and supporting project delivery teams with SHEQ-related issues.
SHEQ Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and lead the SHEQ strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Promote SHEQ awareness and compliance at all organizational levels.
- Manage SHEQ audits, inspections, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
Health & Safety
- Oversee safety operations at offices, workshops, and sites, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead accident and incident investigations, producing detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date site safety documentation (RAMS, permits, toolbox talks) and communicate effectively.
Qualifications
- Skills in Health & Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health.
- Experience in a similar role.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
