Location & Working Style: Hybrid working: a combination of working from home and from our office in Newcastle upon Tyne
Employment Type & Salary: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hpw), Salary circa: £50,000 pa depending on experience, with a car allowance and benefits including a health cash plan

Role Overview: We are passionate about developing and implementing health and safety strategies, plans, and policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Typical Day:
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders
- Support operational management with training programs
- Conduct health and safety checks, audits, and generate management reports
- Advise on procurement processes and maintain supply chain relationships
- Engage with the health and safety team
Qualifications & Experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; IOSH certification; working towards CMIOSH; CPD maintenance
- Experience in maintenance/construction H&S management
- Ability to compile risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
- Experience with construction-related health and safety, including training on risks like working at heights, asbestos, vibration, dust
- Investigate incidents and produce reports
- Experience in policy writing and review
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid UK driving license

Job Details:
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Regional responsibility with occasional travel
