My client is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to provide some temporary support for a minimum of 3 months. The role is based in the York area and is to start immediately
The successful Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Conducting workplace Health and Safety checks at a range of placement providers.
- Use a standardised template of questions to guide assessments (full training provided).
- Complete follow-up paperwork and administrative duties post-visit
- Communicate effectively with employers and college staff regarding Health and Safety standards.
- Support the Health and Safety team by carrying out on-site assessments to ensure that work placements are fully compliant with current Health and Safety legislation.
I am really keen to see your CV if you have some previous relevant experience in a Health and Safety advisory or inspection role . You should have
NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and an Enhanced DBS
The role is working Monday to Friday working 37.5 hours
