Position Overview Savii is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Health Insurance Sales Representative to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. In this role, you will generate new business, nurture relationships with prospects, craft tailored proposals, and guide individuals through enrollment in ICHRA-qualified health plans. The ideal candidate holds (or is willing to obtain) health insurance licenses in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Ohio.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect Outreach & Follow-Up: Identify, contact, and follow up with prospective employer and individual clients interested in ICHRA plans.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct needs analyses, present ICHRA solutions, and address client questions or objections.
- Proposal Development: Prepare customized proposals and quotes, ensuring compliance with state regulations and plan requirements.
- Enrollment Management: Assist clients and employees with enrollment into ICHRA-qualified health plans, coordinating with carriers and internal teams.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive renewals, referrals, and ongoing satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, track sales metrics, and provide regular pipeline updates.
- Continuing Education: Stay current on ICHRA regulations, carrier offerings, and industry trends in all licensed states.
Qualifications & Requirements- Insurance Licenses: Current health insurance producer license (or willingness to obtain promptly) in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Ohio.
- Experience: 2+ years of health insurance sales or benefits consulting experience, preferably with ICHRA or ACA individual market products.
- Skills: Strong consultative sales abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency with proposal software and CRM tools.
- Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently as a contractor, manage a distributed client base, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Compliance Focus: Understanding of state and federal insurance regulations and commitment to ethical sales practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Compensation & Contractor Details- This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and licensing fees.
- Commission-Only Structure: Competitive commission rates paid on every enrollment. Rates and schedule to be discussed during interview.
