Position Overview The Health Insurance Reimbursement Consultant will lead Cefaly's payer strategy and reimbursement initiatives in partnership with PayrHealth and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for securing expanded coverage, building provider support tools, and driving reimbursement optimization to support commercial and clinical growth.


While this role is currently part time, there is an opportunity to grow to full time and possibly a Full time employee.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison with PayrHealth, ensuring deliverables, insights, and timelines are met
  • Lead Medicaid and Medicare strategy, working closely with PayrHealth to develop and track submissions
  • Partner with Clinical, Regulatory, and Sales teams to refine value messaging and coverage materials
  • Monitor payer policy trends and translate them into strategic recommendations
  • Develop reimbursement tools for provider offices and clinical partners (e.g., coding guides, coverage FAQs)
  • Support field training team on how to communicate payer processes and address billing questions
  • Collaborate with Marketing on reimbursement-related content (email campaigns, webinars, provider education)
  • Represent Cefaly in discussions with payers, PBMs, and health systems as needed

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in U.S. market access, reimbursement, or health economics (medical device or biopharma)
  • Demonstrated success in driving payer coverage or coding adoption
  • Experience managing external market access partners (PayrHealth or equivalent a plus)
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer landscapes
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong project management and data interpretation ability
  • Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with neuromodulation or neurology products
  • Understanding of DME, HCPCS coding, and VA or government payer channels
