We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental, Health, and Safety Consultant to join our team and embody these values while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Job Overview:
As a Health and Safety Consultant at Cardinal Compliance Consultants, you will play a critical role in assessing workplace environments, developing customized safety solutions, and guiding clients to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Your work will directly contribute to reducing workplace risks, improving safety culture, and upholding our commitment to doing the right thing.
Pay Range:
$65,000 to $85,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive workplace health and safety audits and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement tailored health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide engaging and effective health and safety training for client teams.
- Ensure client compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare clear and actionable reports outlining findings and solutions.
- Stay current on industry best practices, standards, and legislative changes.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building lasting relationships with clients while delivering solutions that reflect our high standards and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications such as CIH, CSP, CHST, or OSHA certifications are highly valued.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in workplace safety or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, risk management, and safety program development.
- A high level of electrical safety/arc flash aptitude is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and training skills.

- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management tools is a plus.
