This is an excellent opportunity for a Head of Software Engineering with strong team management experience within a Series A start-up environment. You will play a key role in product development, laying the foundations for future developers to build upon.

In this varied role, you will work closely with the CEO, CTO, and Directors to develop a clear and strategic plan for future product development. The role involves a split of hands-on Flutter and Python mobile app development, along with leading and mentoring a team of developers. Ensuring projects stay within timeframes and maintaining high quality are key responsibilities that will help the business achieve its targets and aspirations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing high-performance teams within a Series A startup and be adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment. A strong technical background in hands-on mobile development is essential, with in-depth knowledge of Flutter (Dart) or Python (Django) across full-stack development to support product development and mentor junior staff. Additionally, a solid understanding of DevOps principles and AWS is required.
