Head of School
Cabrillo Montessori School of Silicon Valley
Imagine a place where the laughter of children fills the air, where dedicated educators come together to shape young minds, and where every day feels like a step toward something meaningful. At the Montessori School of Silicon Valley, we've built that place across four thriving campuses in the heart of the Silicon Valley and central Texas, recognized as one of the Bay Area's top private preschool systems.
Our secret? A commitment to putting "Children First, Always," brought to life through our fully implemented Montessori classrooms.
For the first time in over 5 years, we're searching for a special someone to lead the charge as our new Head of School at our Santa Clara campus.
Picture yourself stepping into a role where your passion for leadership shines. You're the kind of person who thrives on building strong, inspired teams-someone who lights up at the chance to work with both wide-eyed children and the Montessorians who guide them. You're driven, dependable, and always looking for ways to help those around you grow. At our school, you'll find a home for those qualities, partnering with a dynamic crew to shape the future of our community.
Every day, you'll be at the helm, steering your school toward excellence. You'll collaborate with your team to welcome more families, elevate the quality of our programs, and create experiences that leave parents smiling-all while keeping everything running in compliance with the California Community Care Licensing Division. It's a big job, but you're not here to settle for small dreams.
In return, we've got your back. The total compensation package for this role ranges from $105k-120k between a strong base salary, monthly performance incentives and 4% employer matching in our 401k plan. In addition, we offer health, dental, and vision insurance, along with plenty of paid time off to recharge. Because we know that great leaders need support, too.
So, who are we looking for? Someone who's managed successful teams, spent at least two years in a childcare setting and at least one year as an assistant director or director in an educational environment. You've led a team before, and you've got the communication skills-both spoken and written-to inspire and connect. A bachelor's degree is a plus, and you'll need to be fully qualified to serve as a childcare center director under California's licensing standards. But more than that, we're looking for someone who's outgoing, dedicated, and ready to join a team that loves what they do-and does it together.
If this sounds like you, come write the next chapter with us. At the Montessori School of Silicon Valley, you won't just lead a school-you'll help build a legacy.
