About the role
This role will be responsible for leading the Financial Reporting team. A successful candidate will ensure the accurate and timely issuance of monthly results, as well as working with our transformation team to design and implement global processes across all our practices. There are several practice migrations taking place currently, and the successful candidate will have experience in guiding a team to implement the right strategy for success.

You'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving innovation by helping us transition from manual processes to streamlined, automated solutions.
This role reports into the Group Financial Controller.
You will provide leadership and development of the operational finance team and ensure high-quality processes and services are provided to the business. You will lead external audits and the preparation of annual financial statements, with a focus on improving controls, processes, and systems.
Job Overview
The role will have full responsibility for, but not limited to:
- Business partnering with operational and commercial finance teams, providing insight and challenge to support operational objectives.
- Leading the finance team in the creation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring management information is accurate, insightful, and effectively challenged.
- Improving the month-end close process and guiding the team to success.
- Leading the end-to-end audit process related to financial reporting, and continuously reviewing and implementing effective financial controls to embed a strong control environment.
- Playing a key role in the business and deputising for the Group Financial Controller when required.
All about You
- You will be a qualified accountant (ACA) with significant experience in a senior leadership role within finance. Up-to-date knowledge of UK accounting standards is essential.
- You will have at least 4+ years in a leadership role.
- You possess excellent people management skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others. A confident, dynamic, and supportive leader and team player, with a proven track record of developing others.
- You are driven, committed to delivering challenging targets, and demonstrate a 'can do' attitude. You are IT literate and willing to champion technology in service delivery.
- You understand change management and can foster an environment for creating sustainable organizational models.
- Knowledge or experience in technology is desirable.
