About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic and results-driven Director of Publisher Development to lead the expansion of its SSP into new publishers within the advertising ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and relationship management, with a focus on ensuring the successful launch and profitability of new publisher partners. This role requires a strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a solid understanding of programmatic technologies and platforms. The Director will also be instrumental in educating cross-functional teams on supply-side trends and will play a critical role in the overall growth of the business. Key responsibilities for the Director of Publisher Development include expanding the publisher footprint, developing a comprehensive understanding of supply-side dynamics, and managing the end-to-end publisher relationship lifecycle. The role involves strategic business development, including negotiating publisher agreements, driving legal processes, and advising on revenue generation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing relationships with publishers, particularly in the CTV space, and at least 4 years' experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or digital media sales. A deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights are essential. The Director will also be expected to collaborate effectively across teams, both internally and with external partners.
