About the Role

The Head of National Accounts will be responsible for playing pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's strategic direction within the national retail and foodservice landscape. This leader collaborates closely with executive leadership, including the CEO, President, and Marketing team, to determine key priorities such as target markets, product launches, and competitive strategies. As a core contributor to the company's strategic plan, they bring practical, in-market insights to identify gaps, refine go-to-market strategies, and drive commercial success. With a mandate to be a thought partner at the highest levels, this individual must demonstrate both a strategic mindset and the agility to adapt plans to dynamic market conditions, ensuring strong alignment between vision and execution. The ideal candidate brings foundational sales and commercial experience from a major non-alcoholic food or beverage company. A deep understanding of various beverage segments, including carbonated drinks, juices, energy drinks, and ready-to-drink products, is essential. Bonus consideration will be given to those with successful sales experience in the beverage alcohol category, such as wine, spirits, or beer, due to its distinct market complexities. Additionally, the candidate must have demonstrated success in a growth-stage or turnaround environment, ideally in a private equity or family-owned business, showcasing the ability to achieve results with limited resources. A strong commercial acumen, entrepreneurial drive, and proven leadership in both large-scale and nimble, fast-paced organizations are key to excelling in this role.
