Core4ce is seeking an experienced mission leader to spearhead the development and delivery of AI/ML capabilities. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and expertise in current-market technologies, as well as DoD and Intelligence Community approaches to rapidly prototype and field AI/ML capabilities leveraging enterprise IT infrastructure and DevSecOps best practices that accelerate the development, test, and deployment of secure, AI/ML-enabled software to the Defense and Intelligence communities. Responsibilities
• Provide onsite program management and delivery support for DoD and Intelligence Community customers
• Provide leadership and expertise in current-market technologies that deliver infrastructure, platform, and application capabilities to accelerate the development, test, and deployment of secure, AI/ML-enabled software to DoD.
• Provide technical direction and expertise to accelerate corporate IR&D capabilities in support of CJADC2 mission use cases
• Provide strategic advice on DoD Enterprise Infrastructure, software accreditation practices.
• Lead strategic engagements with key DoD and IC executive stakeholders, and tactical engagements with mission users
• Shape requirements for infrastructure and platform architecture that addresses DoD and IC development, test, and deployment use cases based on AI/ML-enabled software by DoD DevSecOps principles (AIOps), microservices architectures, cybersecurity standards and API gateway technologies.
• Collaborate through technical leadership and external partnerships with DoD, IC, Industry, and Academic partners.
• Maintain current knowledge of the latest technologies in infrastructure and foundational services, e.g., by prototyping platform-centric technologies capable of shortening the DoD development, secure, test, and deployment lifecycle of data, machine learning, and software integration pipelines.
• Understand the needs of DoD component abstract problems and requests, to build scalable infrastructure and platforms that enable software development products and programs.
• Serve as a corporate champion of AI/ML capabilities for cloud and enterprise-level technologies that enable rapid development and deployment of AI/ML.
• Advise corporate leadership on DoD and IC architecture engineering and technical matters.
• Support strategic growth efforts as needed, including development of capture plans and campaigns
• Enable the rapid prototyping of complex AI/ML capabilities across automation, data collection, processing, and AI/ML exploitation technology areas.
• Lead and empower cross-functional teams of efforts of Cloud Architects, Data Engineers, Network Engineers, and Data Scientists, in solving complex and far-reaching enterprise architecture issues and problems for high-profile Defense and Intelligence mission use cases. Requirements
• 5+ years of demonstrated program and project execution expertise in support of AI/ML infrastructure/platform and model delivery, including to austere environments
• Extensive knowledge of software/hardware/network/security/data management integration approaches for federated sharing of the operating system's runtime environment, architectural components of infrastructure services and support applications, as well as mission applications.
• Strong knowledge of the architecture and operation of state-of-the-art AI/ML enabled mission systems and knowledge of the analysis, design, implementation, operation, test, evaluation, and maintenance of software systems and computer systems architecture, computer networking, and information assurance tools and techniques.
• Broad and comprehensive knowledge in the technical aspects of planning, design, development, test, certification, delivery, operation, and sustainment of complex automated information systems and services.
• Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of experience in applicable field
• Experience with Intelligence, Surveillance and reconnaissance tactical mission applications, across multiple intelligence sources (e.g., GEOINT, MASINT, SIGINT).
• Demonstrated experience in direct support of Senior Executive/General/Flag Officer military or intelligence community customers, demonstrating progressive technical development and mission-focused outcomes.
• Experience supporting cyber security or network security and software accreditations.
