Overview

We're seeking a talented head of membership content to run our YouTube membership product.

As head of the Hammer Media YouTube Membership, you'll be responsible for the growth strategy around the membership. Leading our team of content producers and editors to produce high-level content for Hammer Pro, Elite, and VIP members.

This is a chance to lead one of the platform's most prominent and fastest-growing YouTube memberships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube Membership growth strategy aligned with the channel's brand and content roadmap.
  • Member Engagement & Retention: Design and implement exclusive member perks, coordinate regular touch points with members, and focus on reducing churn.
  • Content & Collaboration: Work closely with your team of producers and editors to ensure the timely delivery of member-only content of the highest quality.
  • Ideation & Brainstorming: Propose innovative content ideas to boost engagement and brand awareness, staying updated on the latest digital trends.
  • Data and Reporting: Use analytics tools to measure content effectiveness and optimize strategies based on data insights.
  • Operations & Support: Manage the backend logistics of YouTube memberships, including perk delivery, tier updates, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years experience in show production, the creator economy, or subscription/membership programs (ideally in entertainment, YouTube, Twitch, Patreon, or similar platforms).
  • Proven track record of growing and managing paid fan communities or monetization programs.
  • Firm grasp of entertainment trends and audience behavior on platforms like YouTube, Patreon, and other streaming services.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent community-building instincts - knows how to make fans feel seen and valued.
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically - ideate new offerings and test what works.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, driving alignment and performance across content, community, and operations.
  • Skilled in building and executing fast-turnaround content pipelines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.

  • Experience working with creators, talent, or influencers.
  • Familiarity with Financial Audit or Caleb Hammer
  • Experience working in the YouTube space specifically.
