Our client is a seasoned investment management firm with a strong reputation for developing differentiated, research-led strategies and serving both institutional and high-net-worth investors with a disciplined, value-focused approach. They are currently seeking a seasoned Head of Institutional Sales to lead efforts across the Endowment & Foundation (E&F), Family Office, and O-CIO channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow institutional assets across E&F, family offices, and O-CIOs
- Cultivate and expand relationships with institutional consultants and gatekeepers
- Lead, coach, and develop two institutional sales professionals
- Partner with portfolio managers and marketing to tailor messaging and materials for sophisticated allocators
- Represent the firm's long-only equity capabilities in meetings, conferences, and finals presentations
- Help shape product positioning and competitive intelligence feedback loop internally
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in institutional asset management sales
- Proven track record raising capital from endowments, foundations, family offices, or O-CIOs
- Deep understanding of long-only equity strategies and ability to communicate investment edge to sophisticated clients
- Team leadership experience or strong desire to mentor other seasoned professionals
- Strong industry reputation and consultative approach to sales
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a smaller, collaborative environment
