About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Institutional Business Development and Sales to lead the strategic growth of its cutting-edge infrastructure that bridges traditional finance and crypto. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the institutional sales strategy, with a focus on hedge funds, family offices, and financial institutions. This role involves owning the entire sales lifecycle, from pipeline generation to contract signing, and requires close collaboration with legal, product, and compliance teams to ensure that solutions meet institutional-grade requirements. The Head of Institutional Business Development and Sales will also be instrumental in building and maintaining high-trust relationships with executive-level stakeholders, translating technical product features into clear value propositions, and navigating complex partnership discussions. The ideal candidate will have a background of at least 7 years in institutional business development, partnerships, or B2B sales within traditional finance, fintech, or crypto-native companies. A proven track record of selling to financial institutions, family offices, or asset managers is essential, as is a deep understanding of both traditional capital markets and crypto infrastructure. Familiarity with KYC/AML frameworks, legal structuring, and regulatory risk in digital assets, as well as experience in collaborating with legal counsel on institutional deals, are also key requirements. The role demands strong presentation and storytelling skills, the ability to simplify complex tech into executive-ready narratives, and an existing network of institutional contacts, particularly in the NY financial ecosystem.
