Relate Search has partnered with one of the nation's largest physician's practice management groups in their search for a technology leader to partner with business leaders to define and execute a forward-looking technology strategy. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping their digital capabilities, optimizing operations, and ensuring technology investments drive meaningful impact for patients and providers alike. You can expect to be involved in projects such as driving use of AI for patient and provider services; reimagining the online patient portal and in-person office experience; operationalizing next-gen workforce management solutions and uncovering automation and AI agent opportunities for the IT function.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive a structured, collaborative and business-aligned roadmap by prioritizing high-impact technology investments.
- Source and identify emerging solutions.
- Leverage KPIs, analytics, and real-time reporting to maximize project ROI, optimize resource allocation, and continuously improve execution.
- Partner with business leaders to quantify value, create structured tracking loops, and embedded a results-driven culture that delivers tangible outcomes.
- Establish a clear, structured approach to prioritizing technology investments based on business impact, efficiency, and growth potential (incl. market & competitive lens backed). Define and enforce project selection criteria to ensure IT efforts align with strategic goals.
- Translate appetite for technology investments into a roadmap for technology.
- Set and track KPIs to measure technology project success and maximize the return on every dollar spent.
- Manage project pipelines and project timelines. Work with on and offshore teams to monitor performance, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation.
- Provide leadership with real-time visibility into technology initiatives to ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Continuously analyze project data to refine execution and enhance future outcomes.
- Work closely with business leaders to quantify the value of technology initiatives and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Establish feedback loops to validate impact and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Foster a results-driven culture ensuring every initiative delivers tangible business value.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of experience in technology leadership roles. Must have medical, dental or vision practice experience / physician practice management.
- Strong background in IT strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise technology implementations.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technology solutions that drive measurable impact.
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing technology vendors.
- Strong communication - both written and verbal - skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in mergers / acquisitions.
