Description

  • Oversee/assist in client services of closed ended fund administration clients; oversee operational work for clients
  • Coordinate work performed in other locations globally, financial statements, fund admin reporting, client visits, global projects, client integration management
  • Prepare quarterly net asset value calculations (cash, portfolio, capital/partner reconciliations, accruals)
  • Adhere to strict reporting guidelines
  • Calculate key performance indicators (KPI)/ metrics (management/performance fees, waterfall model, IRR/various rate of return metrics)
  • Post investor reports/notices
  • Manage contacts via investor portals Investment Café (ICX)/Intralinks
  • Manage/execute conversion of existing PE Funds from accounting applications to eFront
  • Monitor compliance with service agreements/apply controls to meet SOC 1 stds/regulatory requirements
  • Work with fund solutions/administration
  • Build/manage teams
  • Interact with clients/client fund investments
  • Communicate to team members concerning client fund specifics/industry best practices
  • Direct overall management of assigned client service teams with focus on consistent application of Apex's process control procedures, workflow consistency, proper client communications, confidentiality of client data
  • Develop full project plans
  • Manage client team workloads to meet established timetables/deadlines; coordinate with different service teams at Apex
  • Evaluate workload of client service teams to ensure adequate staffing to meet clients' assignments
  • Ensure individual team members maintain balanced workloads
  • Assist team members with prioritizing, delegating, managing temporary spikes in workload
  • Make recommendations for new staff resources
  • Ensure new hires receive appropriate training
  • Identify inefficiencies
  • Provide recommendations to management to address them through changes in procedure/enhanced technology
  • Evaluate performance of individual client service team members
  • Coordinate annual reviews
  • Monitor/evaluate team hours to identify needs for additional training/supervision, enhancements to Apex processes/workflows/unusual client requests/working habits that require additional time commitments
  • Maintain knowledge of accounting rules/reporting requirements pertaining to investment funds/registered investment advisors
  • Ensure such rules are appropriately applied
  • Assist in development of new/existing global client relationships
  • Optimize service offerings, productivity, profitability
  • Ensure adherence to documented procedures/policies
  • Develop/enhance our fund administration platforms to automate and standardize processes
  • Collaborate with global operational canters
  • Utilize them for appropriate tasks within group
  • Participate in new business pitches/resource estimation for its servicing
  • Participate in various projects/product offering development and supervise others. This is a telecommuting position with remote benefit from various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Skills Required:

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Managerial Accounting plus 1 year experience.
  • Experience to include preparing quarterly net asset value calculations (cash, portfolio, capital/partner reconciliations, accruals) adhering to strict reporting guidelines
  • Calculating key performance indicators (KPI)/ metrics (management/performance fees, waterfall model, IRR/various rate of return metrics); posting investor reports/notices, managing contacts via investor portals Investment Café (ICX)/Intralinks
  • Managing/executing conversion of existing PE Funds from accounting applications to eFront and monitoring compliance with service agreements/applying controls to meet SOC 1 stds/regulatory requirements.

Salary ranges from USD $223,454.00 - USD $225,000.00 plus additional discretionary yearly bonus based on corporate and individual's performance. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
