Role Description
We're looking for a Head of Field Engineering to lead and scale our Sales Engineering and Customer Success Engineering teams, playing a critical role in driving pre-sales excellence and post-sales success.
You will oversee the entire technical customer journey-from initial engagement to long-term value realization-and collaborate with Sales, Product, and GTM leaders to deliver technical strategies, demos, and enablement programs for Enterprise and Strategic customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the pre-sales team to deliver compelling technical value to prospective customers.
- Partner with Product to build and maintain high-impact demos tailored for technical buyers.
- Enable Sales Engineering teams to effectively position Galileo to various technical personas.
- Drive efficient, outcome-driven pilot programs with customizations based on buyer personas.
- Design and implement customer journeys for Enterprise and Strategic accounts.
- Develop customer enablement programs including onsite workshops, presentation decks, and proactive value strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience leading pre-sales and post-sales engineering teams in high-growth SaaS or AI/Data companies.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams serving Enterprise and Strategic accounts.
- Strong technical background, ideally with a degree in Engineering or related field.
- Deep understanding of technical buyer evaluation and enablement needs.
- Experience in scalable customer enablement and pilot frameworks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Background in generative AI, data platforms, or developer tools.
- Experience leading hybrid teams and collaborating across functions.
