We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Ecommerce to join our team. The Head of Ecommerce will be responsible for developing and executing our overall ecommerce strategy, including managing our online sales channels, optimizing our digital platforms, driving traffic to our website, and enhancing our customer experience.

The headquarters for this position are in Bedminster, NJ. Someone who can work hybrid in NJ is ideal (1-2 days/week in the office). The ideal Head of Ecommerce is someone with CPG experience and has experience in Ecommerce partnering with Amazon. This is a true leadership role with a seat at the Executive table. There is 1 direct report for this team currently with growth 50%+ year-over-year. The Head of Ecommerce must also be able to own a P&L. Job Details

Roles & Responsibilities:
Leadership
  • Act as an integral member of the Leadership Team
  • Manage a team of agencies and coach/mentor one direct report
  • Develop policies and plans to execute the overall vision, strategy, and capabilities needed to support organizational long-term and short-term e-commerce sales growth goals
  • Evaluate and recommend e-commerce investments and initiatives and lead the development of business cases and marketing plans
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and expansion of customer engagement and revenue using data analytics to study traffic, trends, customer touchpoints, and pain points
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to optimize owned ecommerce channels
  • Manage regular reporting on e-commerce performance (consumption, market share, gross sales, net sales) to both US and global audiences

Merchandising
  • Optimize the Amazon store experience, PDPs and A+ Content to grow conversion rate
  • Partner with the brand team to develop brand messages and content
  • Manage omnichannel marketplace pricing and recommend appropriate changes as necessary

Performance Marketing
  • Manage demand generation activities for Amazon, and other owned ecommerce channels.
  • Continuously optimize ecommerce performance marketing for all responsible channels via test and scale approach
  • Develop and own ecommerce marketing strategy in partnership with Marketing and Sales
  • Monitor competitive activity (new brands, products, promotions, pricing, etc.) and recommend strategic changes as necessary

P&L Ownership
  • Achieve channel level revenue, net sales, and gross-to-net goals
  • Act as key account manager (sales forecasting, P&L ownership, daily administrative tasks) for all pure play e-commerce accounts
  • Manage e-commerce strategy for brick-and-click accounts in partnership with the US sales team
  • Maintain discrete ecommerce budget and track against paid media, agency, and other g/ls
  • Streamline ecommerce fulfillment needs in partnership with supply chain team

Requirements:
  • 5+ years managerial experience in related field
  • Deep, recent knowledge and experience in e-commerce, especially Amazon Vendor and Seller Central marketplaces
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
