Business Classifications About the Role The Company is excited to welcome a dynamic Head of Compliance and Risk Management to our executive team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and execution of innovative compliance, risk management, and regulatory strategies. As the authority on BSA/AML compliance and risk governance, you will ensure our operations adhere to all relevant standards, leading global compliance teams and providing strategic insights to the executive team and Board of Directors. Your role will also include serving as the main liaison with regulators, actively promoting a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the organization. You will stay ahead of regulatory changes, proactively updating policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a minimum of 10 years of robust experience in risk and compliance leadership, with at least 2 years specifically focusing on regulatory compliance within the cryptocurrency sector. Your strong background in compliance for financial products, particularly in areas such as transaction monitoring, BSA/AML compliance, and risk management programs is essential. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced and performance-driven environments, balancing effective risk management with business growth. As you interact with a variety of regulators and agencies, particularly in the U.S. and EU, your strong interpersonal and leadership skills will be crucial to influencing and guiding teams effectively.
