Role Description
This is a part-time role for Head of Community at Alterante, Inc. The Head of Community will be responsible for key aspects of community building, development and management, including: community outreach, community growth, and engagement w/community via social media and other channels. The role is based in Menlo Park, California. Remote applicants are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Identify social media and online outlets and reach target audiences on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, StackOverflow, Github, and industry-specific websites
- Create an outreach calendar for engaging with the social media and online sites including potential topics for proactive outreach
- Engage in online conversations with the community and target industries
- Create a content calendar including potential content and deadlines
- Create targeted content per the calendar
- Define, Measure, and Track key KPI to measure community engagement & growth
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Community Building at B2B/SAAS companies
- 5+ years of experience with Open Source projects and/or Developer ecosystems
- Startup mindset: hands-on, frugality, grit, passion, mission-driven
- Growth Marketing, Customer Acquisition, and Growth Hacking skills
- Social Media Strategy: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Github
- Sales and Business Development skills
- Experience developing and executing growth strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- plus 10+ years of experience with Open Source projects and/or Developer community/ecosystems
- plus 10+ years of Developer Marketing experience
- plus 5+ years of experience building/promoting Web3, Peer to Peer, Decentralized technologies
