Job Summary The primary function and purpose of this position is to provide overall direction of the Men's Golf program.
Essential Functions - Provide overall direction of the Men's Golf program.
- Help monitor the academic progress of student-athletes while fostering an environment that supports the commitment of academic excellence.
- Instruct student-athletes on the techniques of Golf.
- Work effectively with administrators, staff and coaches within the Department of Athletics to operate effectively within the organization's structure.
- In conjunction with Athletics personnel, develop effective systems with academics, strength & conditioning, business, development, marketing and equipment to best support the golf program.
- Create competitive tournament schedule that supports the growth of the program and the student-athlete experience.
- Communicate with all constituents of the program including staff, faculty, students, parents, alumni and friends.
- Establish a strong foundation of alumni support to foster growth of the Drexel golf community through fundraising and engagement.
- Select and successfully recruit student-athletes who meet the needs and growth of the program, department and institution.
- Manage all administrative tasks related to Men's Golf program.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Sports Administrator and Director of Athletics.
Required Qualifications - Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Minimum of 4 years of recent college coaching experience or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid Driver's License.
Location - University City - Philadelphia, PA
