Private Club - Full-Time

A prestigious private membership club with approximately 300 members is seeking a seasoned and hands-on Head Catering Manager to oversee and elevate our culinary and events experience.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this leadership role is responsible for managing day-to-day food and beverage operations while also planning and executing a wide variety of events, including weddings, private dinners, fundraisers, and seasonal celebrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise all aspects of food and beverage service, including daily dining operations and event catering
  • Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including scheduling, hiring, and training
  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus and event offerings
  • Manage budgets, cost controls, vendor relationships, and inventory
  • Plan and execute events from start to finish, including member-hosted functions, private celebrations, and charitable gatherings
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Provide a high-touch hospitality experience while maintaining discretion and professionalism
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Proven experience managing food and beverage operations, ideally in a private club, boutique hotel, or high-end event venue
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for hospitality
  • A track record of successful event planning and execution
  • High attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs
