Position Overview Infinity is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Satellite and Ground System Operator to join our team supporting 24x7 operations at the Missile Defense Agency, Schriever SFB. The SVO/GSO is responsible for configuring ground system resources and executing satellite command and control operations. Responsibilities also include mission planning, training, and documentation updates. Primary Responsibilities Perform 24x7 real-time on-orbit and disposal satellite operations, including commanding, telemetry analysis, and anomaly resolution
Troubleshoot and resolve network, ground system, and satellite anomalies
Support constellation mission planning activities
Provide operational inputs to factory engineers and test teams as required
Develop/refine ops checklists and procedures
Develop/refine training materials and participate in satellite operator training/mentoring
Attend operations stand-up meetings and shift changeover briefings as requiredMinimum Qualifications 2-5 years experience as a satellite operator or engineer on a DoD program
Ability to excel in a dynamic team environment with daily customer interaction
Objective thinker and problem solver with ability to execute challenging tasks with little guidance
Strong oral and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience with Missile Warning / Missile Tracking systems
Familiarity with IR sensor operations
Experience with Neptune TT&C, Ocean Flight Dynamics, and VMOC Mission Management productsEducation/Experience Minimum of high school diploma and 6 years prior relevant experience; bachelor's degree in a STEM field is preferred.
