Join the legacy of a pioneering winery in the cool-climate Finger Lakes region. Established in 1962, Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery revolutionized East Coast winemaking by introducing European vinifera grapes to New York. Our estate vineyards on Keuka Lake include some of the oldest Riesling, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir vines in the Eastern U.S. We craft over 40 different wines, including unique varietals such as Rkatsiteli, Gruner Veltliner, Gewurztraminer, and more. Thus making us one of the most diverse and dynamic wineries in the region.
Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and experienced Harvest Interns to join our 2025 vintage team. This is a hands-on, immersive role that offers the opportunity to work across all stages of the winemaking process in a winery known for its innovation, tradition, and breadth of varietals.
Key Responsibilities:ALL Conduct ripeness analysis of grape samples
Assist with fruit processing: sorting, crushing, pressing
Monitor fermentations (Brix, temperature)
Perform cleaning and sanitization of equipment and tanks
Carry out additions, racking, and other cellar operations
Maintain accurate records and assist with lab analysis
Participate in occasional vineyard work as needed
Requirements:
Previous harvest or cellar experience is required
A degree (or pursuit of a degree) in Viticulture, Enology, or a related field is preferred
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols
Reliable and dependable
Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working long, physically demanding hours, including nights and weekends
Must be at least 21 and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license preferred
Must have a positive attitude and team mindset
