We are hiring an energetic and hard-working Floor Shift Manager for the Hofheimer business, including Harry's at Hofheimer Rooftop, Library, Event Venue space, and Restaurant. This position will be expected to provide a high quality, memorable experience to the guests and management of the hourly staff of the Hofheimer Building. This position reports to the Hofheimer General Manager.
ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES The Floor Shift Manager at the Harry's at Hofheimer is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the floor, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing staff, coordinating events, and ensuring that the venue runs smoothly during shifts.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate team members to ensure high performance and teamwork.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all guests receive outstanding service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing events, including live music performances, private parties, and community gatherings.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in managing cash handling, including daily reconciliations and reporting any discrepancies.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the venue is clean, organized, and well-maintained, addressing any maintenance issues as they arise.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff during shifts, effectively communicating updates and expectations.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in hospitality or venue management preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

About the Historic Hofheimer Building + Harry's at Hofheimer We offer a fun, fast-paced, creative work environment. Located in the Scott's Addition - Harry's at Hofheimer is located on 3 floors of the Historic Hofheimer Building and includes an event venue, rooftop bar, restaurant, and live music venue. We host hundreds of interesting events and musical acts every year and our venue is located in one of the most exciting, fact growing neighborhoods of Richmond.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
