The ideal candidate will also be able to help with system troubleshoot, keep the equipment hardware, software, firmware updated and manage the lab inventory. We are looking for an energetic and dynamic individual with high integrity to join our team. Advantest is a fast-paced environment so this individual must also be able to handle rapidly changing work assignments.


About the Role:

Responsibilities include:


  • Operate Semiconductor test equipment (ATE) including device handlers, wafer probers, and manipulators
  • Manage lab schedule and workflows
  • Install Software and Firmware, as needed
  • Install and run Test Programs
  • Set up and run experiments to collect data as per procedures defined by engineers
  • Assemble mechanical parts, as needed
  • Assist in troubleshooting system failures
  • Coordinate repairs and manage preventative maintenance of laboratory test equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory of test devices, prototypes and test instruments
  • Write clear, accurate, and complete test reports
  • Order tools and supplies as needed for the lab
  • Assist in parts shipment/receiving
  • Collaborate with fellow lab technicians

Qualifications:

Requirements:


  • High School diploma
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a lab technician
  • Experience in operating electronic test equipment and instruments
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation

Preferred Skills:

Additional Skills Preferred (but not required):


  • BS degree in EE or ME
  • Experience in operating semiconductor test equipment like device handlers and wafer probers
