Qualis LLC is seeking a Hardware Systems Integration Engineer.
- The HW Integration Engineer is responsible to provide systems integration engineering support and expertise for the weapon development, integration, prototype production, and test. Duties include:
- Provide HW systems engineering and integration support
- Review and define system requirements
- Review and evaluate system technical specifications, designs, analyses, test plans/procedures, and technical data packages
- Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate preliminary concept exploration and candidate system design
- Support development and testing of prototypes for upgrades to the weapon system to include fit checks and provide oversight to modification installations
- Develop and present briefings and reports to government customer
Requirements - BS in Science or Engineering
- 5 years supporting engineering for Army weapon systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for major defense acquisition program office or OEM.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering and requirements analysis
- Weapon System development/integration experience
- Demonstrated experience with System Requirements and Design Reviews
- Familiarity in Launchers, Reload Operations, Missile System Characteristics, Command and Control
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications - Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Technical oversight of major weapon systems development
- Relevant experience with RCCTO, Army project office, and/or PEO MS.
- Knowledge of system interface requirements and requirements management
- Experience preparing briefings and documentation for senior leadership
- Familiar with conducting reviews of entrance and exit criteria
