hardware quoting & procurement specialist' to join our team in Jacksonville. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong hardware background who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and is excited to shape a growing division within our company.
This role bridges the gap between our clients, internal teams, and major OEMs (Dell, HP, Cisco, etc.). You'll support and streamline the hardware request process, support and grow vendor relationships, and become a trusted advisor to clients - ensuring they receive the
right solutions, not just what they think they need.
Key Responsibilities: - Help manage and build relationships with OEMs (Dell, HP, Cisco) and coordinate/manage hardware-related meetings and updates.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams to support hardware requests, quotes, and tracking orders (initially manual, eventually via a portal in development).
- Act as a trusted advisor to coworkers & clients by helping the sales team identify hardware needs, recommend solutions, and correct misaligned requests.
- Support sales efforts by assisting in customer conversations, quoting, and participating in hardware-related opportunities.
- Research market trends and new product offerings; communicate updates to the team.
- Collaborate with leadership to help define and shape technology changes and trends.
- Contribute creatively bringing your own approach, ideas, and ownership to the role.
What We're Looking For: - Strong background in IT hardware sales (preferably with Dell, HP, Cisco products).
- Experience in an MSP or hardware reseller environment is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in growing within sales over time.
- Self-starter with initiative and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable in a dynamic role with evolving responsibilities.
