Job Responsibilities:Store Operations: - Assist the Manager in all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing the store, handling bank deposits, and performing store close-outs.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs to all physical assets (building, fixtures, and equipment).
- Ensure all calls are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively.
- Familiarity with different operating systems and their functionalities is essential (ACEnet/Eagle).
Customer Service: - Strong customer service skills are needed to address customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues while keeping the store's best interests in mind.
Sales & Merchandising: - Ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly price changes and label updates.
- Identify and execute merchandise resets, ensuring the store layout is organized and aligned with promotional plans.
- All signage in the store is current and accurate.
- Present a clean, orderly sales floor, including end caps and promotional areas.
- Assist in ordering and maintaining product inventory levels to ensure desirable in-stock levels and profitability.
Inventory & Loss Prevention: - Ensure that stock is properly received, checked, and stored, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Inventory control, cycle counts and negative on-hand reports.
- Ensure loss prevention safety and awareness, following procedures to prevent theft and shrinkage.
Team Collaboration & Training: - Lead by example, setting a positive and approachable tone for all associates and customers.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate merchandising, cost control, or sales ideas to the General Manager for follow-up.
- Assist in the training and development of associates, promoting their advancement within the company.
Flexibility & Leadership: - Be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet store needs.
- Take initiative in problem-solving and consistently challenge yourself for future advancement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager or General Manager.
