ICOFT Hardware Engineer Location: Huntsville, AL Description: Seeking a motivated on-site Hardware Engineer for our TSSL team located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will provide engineering and architecture support to design new or modify existing products, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications. The ICOFT provides realistic institutional training in all areas of the THAAD Enhanced Operator/Maintainer operations and maintenance tasks for the THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Radar, and Launcher components. Responsibilities: Utilize the hardware life cycle to Design and develop hardware systems using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware solutions into larger systems.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hardware components to ensure reliability.
Lead hardware design reviews and provide strategic insights for project improvements.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform hardware design.
Utilize data analysis tools to optimize hardware performance and troubleshoot issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for hardware designs and testing procedures.
Participate in agile development processes to ensure timely delivery of hardware projects. Required Skills: Experience with full hardware life cycle to Design and develop hardware systems
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stake holders
Experience with developing and maintain documentation for hardware designs and procedures
Experience conducting hardware tests and validation of components Processor design and optimization
Proficiency in advanced CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD and Solid Works)

Must be a US Citizen
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Education and Experience: Accredited Engineering Degree or Computer Science Degree required, and a minimum of six (5) years engineering experience.
