Hardware Design Engineer Level 1

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to support its government customer in Columbia, MD .

Essential Responsibilities: Candidate should have a basic understanding of VSAT design and field integration, be able to conduct remote site surveys, and perform RF interference detection/mitigation practices while working closely with customer and site personnel to maintain current hardware and provide refresh/new deployment support.
Required Experience:

• RF Spectrum

• RF Test, Management, Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)

• Systematic troubleshooting processes

• Read and understand wiring diagrams

• Read and understand Technical Manuals

• Fiber optical installation, troubleshooting, and repair

• Experience in RF Communications Systems (Antenna Apertures, Antenna Servo Systems, RF Feed Assembly, Low noise Amplifiers, Frequency converters, Antenna control units)

Qualifications:
Three (3) years experience as a HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering of the same is required.
