At Corus Health, we provide compassionate end-of-life care and support to our patients and their families. We believe that personal care and dignity are essential to quality of life, and even small acts of kindness-like a fresh haircut or a simple styling-can bring comfort and joy.
Role & Responsibilities: We are seeking licensed hairstylists or experienced individuals to volunteer their time and skills to provide basic hair care services to hospice patients. Services may include:
- Gentle haircuts
- Simple styling (brushing, braiding, etc.)
- Shampooing (as applicable)
- Beard and mustache trims for male patients
Qualifications: - Licensed hairstylist (preferred) or experienced in hair care
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work with individuals in a sensitive healthcare setting
- Willingness to follow hospice care protocols and infection control guidelines
