Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Hadoop Developer:

•   Setting up, configuring, and maintaining Hadoop clusters, including adding and removing nodes
•   Monitoring and tuning the performance of Hadoop clusters and MapReduce routines
•   Managing HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) and ensuring data integrity and availability
•   Implementing and managing Hadoop security, including Kerberos integration
•   Collaborating with data delivery teams and other IT teams to ensure smooth operations and data quality
Required Skills for Hadoop Developer:

•   Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hadoop development
•   Proficiency in Hadoop ecosystem tools like HDFS, Yarn, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kafka, HBase, and Ambari
•   Hands-on experience with open-source Hadoop distributions (e.g., Apache Hadoop)
•   Experience in implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions for Hadoop clusters
•   Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse teams
