Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gynecology Physician and Clinical Educator to join our healthcare team within Student Health Services at a renowned university located in Suffolk County, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical education, mentorship, and procedural training. You will be responsible for training healthcare providers in performing pelvic exams and other gynecological procedures, ensuring adherence to evidence-based care. This role does not include obstetrics but focuses solely on gynecology.

The pay range for this position is flexible and starts at $150-$200/hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Responsibilities
Providing hands on instruction, competency assessments, and ongoing mentorship, serving as the primary resource for clinical expertise.
Shadow providers to evaluate technique, provide feedback, and standardize best practices across Student Health Services.
Performing and training others in gynecological procedures, including pelvic exams, gynecological screenings, and evidence based care practices
Training and experience in performing pelvic exams, pap smears, and STI screening/treatment
Experience with preventive care, contraception counseling, and reproductive health services
Clinical supervision

Qualifications
Must be licensed in NY (MD or DO) and have experience performing and training others in gynecological procedures
Board Certified or board eligible required
DEA License required
CPR/BLS Certification Required

Working Hours

Full Time, Monday - Friday (no weekends/evenings/calls)

Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per hour
