What you'll do at Choctaw Casino & Resort
  • Cook a variety of fresh meals using techniques such as char-broiling, sautéing, deep frying, roasting, griddling, and more.
  • Follow standardized recipes to prepare flavorful and visually appealing dishes.
  • Prep ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and peeling fruits and vegetables.
  • Monitor the quality of all food being served and ensure consistent taste and presentation.
  • Taste food before serving and apply appropriate garnishes.
  • Follow portion guidelines to reduce food waste and maintain efficiency.
  • Practice safe food handling, storage, and temperature control.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen space throughout your shift.
  • Assist with setup, service, and cleanup of food stations.
  • Rotate stock and properly label food to ensure timely use before expiration.
  • Complete other culinary tasks as assigned by leadership.
You'll bring the heat if you have:
  • The ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • Food Safety and ServSafe Certifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as a broiler/sauté cook in a high-volume, upscale kitchen
  • Proficiency in various cooking methods from griddling to poaching
  • A commitment to culinary excellence and delivering a great guest experience
