Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire QA with at least 4+ years of experience working specifically with Guidewire PolicyCenter. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Guidewire solutions meet the highest quality standards, particularly in areas such as policy management and billing. Your expertise in Guidewire Cloud, P&C Lines of Insurance, and QA automation will be key in delivering seamless, high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter to ensure the system is working as expected and meets all business requirements.
  • Cloud Implementation Experience: Lead and support Guidewire Cloud initiatives, including greenfield implementations in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Perform comprehensive testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the quality of Guidewire solutions.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project teams to align requirements with functional solutions.
  • Agile Methodology: Actively participate in Agile Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Domain Knowledge: Apply your P&C Lines of Insurance knowledge to understand policy and billing flows, along with agency and customer portal requirements.
  • Automation Support: Support or contribute to QA automation efforts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Project Tools Expertise: Utilize standard tools such as ADO, JIRA, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project to track and communicate project progress.
  • Problem-Solving: Use your strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Communication: Ensure clear, concise communication with stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of overall experience, with a minimum of 4+ years in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Guidewire Cloud Associate Certification in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
  • Experience in at least one Guidewire Cloud greenfield implementation project.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and an understanding of the P&C insurance domain.
  • Familiarity with QA Automation is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Proficiency in using project management and business tools like ADO, JIRA, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to escalate appropriately.
  • Strong initiative and ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment.
