You'll join a collaborative IT team focused on data architecture, reporting solutions, and analytics-supporting business operations through scalable and secure data systems. This role will require frequent interaction with stakeholders to understand data needs, define requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality, actionable insights.
You'll bring together a strong background in Guidewire tools, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT pipelines, with the opportunity to further shape and influence how enterprise data is architected, accessed, and delivered across systems.
Responsibilities: - Architect and manage scalable data warehouse and reporting solutions in Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter environments.
- Interface with business stakeholders to evaluate reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain automated, analytical, and management reports across computing environments.
- Lead or assist in the design of data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance across multiple systems.
- Collaborate across IT and business units to ensure solutions meet internal and external stakeholder needs.
- Apply best practices around data security, governance, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOC2).
- Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of data architecture.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across data engineering and analytics infrastructure.
Job Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Guidewire InsuranceSuite modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), Guidewire DataHub, and InfoCenter.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Solid experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Microsoft SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
- Working knowledge of SQL and modern database platforms, including Databricks.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance regulations.
Preferred Skills: - Exposure to machine learning workflows and MLOps tools.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or SAP BusinessObjects.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing/project management systems such as Atlassian Jira.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across diverse teams.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage tasks independently under tight deadlines.
