Job Title: Guidewire Business Systems Analyst

Location: Regional offices in the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast (Hybrid).
Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm
Schedule: Onsite 4 Days a Week (Hybrid)

Description:

• We are seeking a motivated and skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team.

• This role involves identifying business needs, analyzing potential solutions, and supporting the development and testing of enterprise software for the insurance domain.

• You will work closely with end-users to document requirements and collaborate with developers to implement and refine system changes.

• The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality outcomes throughout the software implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users across operations, underwriting, billing, and claims to understand processes and document requirements for system changes.

• Conduct discovery and analysis activities to design new or enhanced system features.

• Develop deliverables such as use cases, functional requirements, screen specifications, mockups, process flows, and user manuals.

• Review specifications and documentation for development and enhancement projects, ensuring alignment with business needs.

• Support user acceptance by creating and executing test plans and coordinating testing efforts.

• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing system maintenance support.

• Monitor and support quality assurance testing and post-production implementation reviews.

• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and provide business-driven solutions.

• Participate in command center activities to support internal and external users with enterprise software platforms.

Required Skills:

• Certification as a business analyst or equivalent experience in business analysis.

• Familiarity with enterprise-level software for policy, billing, and claims management systems.

• Strong technical understanding of data flows between integrated systems.

• Excellent organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with development and QA teams in process-oriented settings.

• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

• Strong time management and planning skills to work with globally distributed teams.

Desired Skills:

• Advanced certifications related to business analysis or enterprise software platforms.

• Deep understanding of software for insurance industry processes.

• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $91000-$130000
