Join our team at the Sheraton Cypress Creek as a Guest Service Agent. The Guest Service Agent in a hotel is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Responsibilities:
• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Assist guests with luggage and other requests.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and calm manner.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Manage reservations and maintain accurate guest records.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure guest needs are met.
• Upsell hotel services and amenities to guests.
• Act as a point of contact for guests, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Anticipate and prevent potential problems.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members to resolve issues.
• May be required to assist with other tasks as needed, such as answering phones, taking messages, or directing guests.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols. Qualifications:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in using hotel management systems and other relevant software.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and move around the hotel. Compensation: $17 per hour
