Position Overview As a Guest Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with prospective and current owners within our resorts. Your efforts will focus on scheduling guests for presentations that showcase our offerings.
Key Responsibilities - Act as a friendly and professional ambassador for Travel + Leisure Co.
- Collaborate with resort staff to obtain guest arrival information.
- Welcome and encourage prospective customers to participate in exciting sales-preview tours.
- Evaluate and qualify potential customers following our guidelines.
- Arrange sales-tour reservations and manage any necessary deposits.
Responsibilities Include: - Warmly greet and inform prospective customers, motivating them to attend sales presentations while adhering to all company policies and compliance standards (80% of your time).
- Participate in all scheduled training sessions and meetings, staying updated on marketing insights and industry trends, while actively reviewing performance goals (20%).
Travel Requirements No travel outside of your home site's area is necessary.
Qualifications While sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. You must meet production standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Training Requirements - No additional training is required.
Skills and Expertise - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Competency in MS Excel and MS Word, alongside general computer skills and smart device handling.
Experience - 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred but not required.
Equivalent experience may be accepted in place of formal educational requirements.
During initial training, you will earn $18.50 per hour along with commissions. After the training period, compensation will align with state minimum wage plus commissions, with target annual earnings around $75,000. Exceptional performers may earn upwards of $118,000+ by exceeding production goals. Actual compensation will vary based on several factors, including experience and performance.
