The Senior associate, IT Operations and support plays a crucial role in the CORE IT Operations and Support team which supports GTIL and Member Firms on local and global contracts.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior associate of IT operations to design, implement, and manage an organization's network services. You will be responsible for managing access, troubleshooting, optimizing, driving automation, and assisting with security issues.

Main responsibilities

Services (related Systems/Applications) include, but are not limited to:
  • Design and deploy functional network topology and related devices or native cloud service
  • Network performance and integrity monitoring
  • DNS Management (CSC)
  • Firewall Management and Network Security (Checkpoint)
  • Maintain General Network Configuration and Routing (Azure)
  • Certificate Management (CSC, Mobile App Certificates, Entrust, etc.)
  • Responsible for network related documentation and diagrams
  • Automation of configurations and repeatable tasks
  • Patching for any relevant virtualized devices
  • Cisco network devices
  • Manage projects, issues (Incidents) and service requests from various stakeholders related to GTIL network infrastructure and security services
  • Assume role as primary Escalation point of contact for network and operational security issues
  • Coordinate network and security related work activities across managed service providers, Cybersecurity, GTIL business stakeholders, and other 3rd parties or customers
  • Identify process and configuration improvement opportunities, and work across various teams to drive implementation
  • As needed, provide hands on technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and update system configuration - Level 3
  • Represent GTIL Network Infrastructure as primary Subject Matter Expert/Service Owner for Project Activities
  • Work with Service Providers to create (and confirm) resource, time, and cost estimates for Demands and Projects
  • Azure Cloud Networking
  • Collaboratively work with GTIL Cybersecurity and Compliance teams to maintain and improve the network security posture of GTIL, including but not limited to firewall policy reviews and updates, and network configuration
  • Work in a 24x7 environment, and available to represent Network Infrastructure and IT Operations in general
  • Able to provide periodic support off hours and Major Incident point of contact.
  • Assume responsibility as Service Owner for all Network and Operational Security Configuration Items (CI's)
  • Participate in and contribute to Audits, Disaster Recovery (DR) Planning, DR Exercises, and other routine Operational Activities

  • Extensive experience of technical leadership of network environment.
  • Problem-solving skills, particularly regarding anticipating and solving risks/issues before they occur or become critical
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, can define dependencies and plan efficiently and communicate actions, progress, blockers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Relates with people across levels, functions, culture, with diplomacy and tact; Builds rapport in an open, friendly, and accepting way; Builds constructive relationships with people both similar and different to self; Picks up on interpersonal and group dynamics.
Experience - Essential
  • Ability to quickly pivot as needed while working through multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Proven track record in on time/on spec delivery
  • Strong relationship skills and cultural awareness, the ability to work well with people from different disciplines and cultures.
  • Ability to be agile, respond positively to change and contribute with an innovative and global mindset.

  • Network+ (Plus) CompTIA IT
  • Azure Network Engineer Associate
